NEW: first results from the HOF SIRIUS long-term trial
The HOF SIRIUS system has undergone successful trials for determining system stability and product safety in recent months. Process optimisations such as maximum loading and unloading speed, emergency management and the new user interface were tested successfully and will continue to be enhanced in the time to come.
Other features such as detecting and evaluating the vial package in the freeze drying plant with a camera system are currently being implemented on the prototype. Together with various manufacturers, we are narrowing down the optimum system for our customers and integrating it into the plant control to further increase process reliability.
We are looking forward to presenting this new loading/unloading system to you live at ACHEMA 2022 in Frankfurt.
NEW: HOF SIRIUS robot-assisted loading and unloading system
The requirements in the field of automatic loading and unloading of a freeze dryer are growing rapidly. Pharmaceutical products and primary packaging material must be transported safely, optimally and in an integrated way. Based on these requirements, HOF will show at the trade fair ACHEMA 2022 a newly developed innovative robot-assisted loading and unloading system.

The HOF SIRIUS new development convinces with its innovative technological character and is a sophisticated high-tech loading and unloading system.
HOF SIRIUS is modular in design and allows individual adaptations to any layout, even in the smallest of spaces. All components also meet the hygienic requirements in the pharmaceutical environment.
Specially remarkable is the innovative interaction of the high-tech transport system gently conveying the product and the modern robotics. HOF SIRIUS provides the highest quality in aseptic loading and unloading of a freeze dryer guarantying high performance and absolute reliability.

New HOF image brochure
Since the foundation of the company more than 30 years ago, it has always been important for HOF to convey a clear image company to its customers.
However, companies are also subject to the changing times. This leaves a mark on one‘s own corporate image, the same applies to HOF. Corporate messages have to be reconsidered, positioning has to be optimized.
Construction of a new production hall
In the last years it became apparent, due to the continuous growth, that an extension of the production area was necessary.
Hans-Georg Hof was responsible for the new building project. He explained: „We had long seen coming the need for the new hall". „ Accordingly, preparations - from planning to the building permit application- already started before Corona". „When the pandemic started, we started building – nobody knew where it was leading and we dug a large hole", he said with a laugh.
Implementation started quickly and, despite adverse circumstances in regard to material shortages and delivery delays, the construction of the new production hall was completed in August.

Review of ACHEMA 2018 – innovative and successful!
HOF invited visitors to their exhibition stand to celebrate the 30th company anniversary.
Following the “knowledge differentiates” principle, HOF presented a new innovative loading and unloading system with a robot for placing stoppers with the wireless tempris© sensor system, which proved to be very popular.
